Herbal Product Formulation (TCM and Western Herbals)
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Herbals do not have too much different. TCM herbals that always been used are Ginseng and Cordysep while for western herbals are Alfafa, Aloe Vera, Bee Pollen and Primrose. Herbal itself has it ability to revitalize the human body. It is commonly used in wellness industry compared to sickness industry. There is a different between wellness and sickness industry. Sickness industry always related to drug formulated where the medicine is consumed when we sick while herbal is related to wellness industry where it is consumed before we sick. It is more to prevention side as quoted ‘prevention is better than cure’. For herbal plant, the active ingredient is not only located in the root only as Eurycoma longifolia (tongkat ali) or Labisia pumilla (kacip fatimah). It may occur in root, stalk, leaf, fruit or flower and will give different properties.
For TCM, Dr.Yeong has stress on Ginseng and Cordysep. Ginseng, which is known as King of Herbs has four types which are Korea, China, Siberia and US. Each of them has different uses. The Korea Ginseng has two uses which are for hot and cold uses while the China and Siberia, it is for hot uses only and the US Ginseng is used to cold the body. In Ginseng, only its root can be extract. Bear in mind that Ginseng’s leaf cannot be eaten. It can cause faint. Ginseng can be used either for treatment or enhancement. If it is use for enhancement, person who suffers cancer cannot take it because the cancer cells will absorb the nutrient and multiply itself.
Cordysep is almost at the top of Chinese herbal medicine. Cordysep also called ‘winter worm, summer grass’. The active ingredients in Cordysep are adenosine which can activate more white blood cell (anti-cancer agent) and cordycepsin (enhancement). Other than Ginseng and Cordysep, TCM also use insect such as cockroaches, lizard, flying lizard, sea horse, honey bees and earth worm. Sometime, venom (king cobra’s poison) can be used after being diluted 1:1000 liters of water. Venom has power to kill bad and good cell.
As an additional knowledge, Dr.Yeong has told us that jackfruit can help to cure cough instantly. He also added that our body needs 166 types of amino acids and in our body there are only 22 items. We need to search for the balance, 144 items. Part of them can be obtained from honey (22 items), bee pollen (22 items), royal jelly (22 items), IgG milk (22 items) and spirulina (22 items). For person with eczema, they should take Vitamin B. For person who is high in cholesterol level, you can try this! Take curry leaf about ¾ full in blender and pour into that blender about half glass of water. Then, blend them. Drink it for three days, insyaAllah the cholesterol level will decrease because curry leaf has ability to break down the polymer chain of fat (MCT and LCT). Other than that, people always worry to take herbal products because they think it cannot be eaten with general practitioner (Dr)’s medicine. Actually, it is a rule on how to take the medicine safely. We can take both, modern medicine and traditional medicine as long as we don’t break the rule. The rule is, we should take the modern medicine first. After four (4) hours we can consume the traditional one. It should have an interval time.

It is more to practical in lab.
